Professional and Personal Coach (ADD Specialty)
Paula Santa-Donato, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and graduate of Columbia University’s School of Social Work. She received her training as a coach from Mentor Coach and the American Coaching Association, which specializes in AD/HD coaching. In addition, she has training in Solution Focused Therapy, CBT, DBT and Mindfulness – all of which inform and strengthen her coaching. Paula coaches adults helping them develop the strategies and skills necessary for managing daily life, improving their professional development, and achieving important goals. Her process focuses on prioritizing, planning, time management and decision making.
Paula believes every client holds the possibility for positive change. In order to bring that change to fruition, she helps each individual identify their strengths, build upon those strengths, increase their insight regarding the challenges they face, and develop a realistic action plan to achieve their goals. Paula approaches each client collaboratively with encouragement, compassion, and realism. Through her personalized approach, clients learn how to better manage their time, build routines and structure into their day/lives, plan, organize, prioritize, and make decisions.
Her clients report feeling balanced, accomplished, more confident, and less overwhelmed. They come to realize that the planning, organizing, and prioritizing skills they develop through this process all serve to help them make better decisions, and experience less stress as they move forward with their lives.
Paula’s ultimate goal and reward is to see her clients optimize their inherent talents, and with her guidance, discover and develop the long term skills necessary to better navigate their challenges and lead more fulfilling lives.
