Erica Frankel studied psychology at Emory University and graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2010. Following undergraduate school, Erica worked as a research fellow at the National Institute of Health (NIH) in the Mental Health Institute (NIMH). Specifically, Erica worked in the Experimental Therapeutics Pathophysiology lab researching new anti-depressant medications for adults with treatment resistant depression and bipolar disorder. After completing her fellowship, Erica attended Columbia University's School of Social Work, with a focus in advanced clinical practice and received a certificate in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Erica joined the Hallowell Center in Spring of 2015 as a therapist and works mostly with young adults and adults with ADHD, mood, and or anxiety disorders.
